As April is all about new beginnings, we wanted to support our team to implement some new healthy habits throughout the working day.

We all aspire to be healthy and fit someway or the other. No one wants to suffer from illness or disease and we want to support out team to live as healthy as possible. We are all busy working hard to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients and often don't prioritise our health.

On top of that, most people have unrealistic expectations of being healthy, such as having an athlete’s physique or having unhealthily low levels of body fat.

Good health is not about having a great body, skin, or hair, but about being able to live life to the fullest without any health problems. It is about having a robust immune system and maintaining healthy habits such as regular exercise and proper nutrition throughout your daily life.

We wanted to ensure that the well-being of our work force is at the forefront of our mind and we therefore are encouraging new health habits this April.. see below;

1. Every Thursday we are committing to a 3k team walk to get the legs moving, some fresh air and a change of scenery to stimulate the mind - with the weather in the UK it can be hard to get outside sometimes, but once we all do it... we feel great!

2. All our staff will be attending a virtual yoga session that will educate everyone on simple chair yoga poses and moves to keep you comfortable when being sat at a computer all day. With this education, our team will have the tools to implement regular movement from their chair to keep comfortable and healthy.

3. We have also introduced morning mediation to the team to support them to start the day with positive thinking. A daily meditation practice can have many mental and physical health benefits. And, if you do your meditation first thing in the morning, it may help boost productivity and focus, improve mood and lower levels of stress and anxiety.
