This included an update on Auto Enrolment, which has been in discussion for many years but has now reached a point of final design with go live dates from 2024. With Life & Pensions Systems having worked on UK Auto-enrolment for some years, it was good to see the final plans and know that we can already see that our system is in an excellent position to move swiftly with this new Irish legislation.
There was also an update from the Irish Pensions Authority which identified that the MasterTrust market is taking off and expected to replace a large number of Pension Schemes (150,000) in the next few years to become the market leader. We already have a number of MasterTrusts in both the UK and Ireland using our systems so again, we feel well prepared for this transition.
