Life & Pensions Christmas Conference and Extravaganza

After the disappointment of not being able to hold our annual team get together, we were so grateful to be able to organise a Christmas extravaganza for 2021!

With offices in both the UK and Ireland, pre-pandemic we would look to get together at least twice a year. However, with the interruption of Covid-19, it has been almost 3 years since we have all been together in person, with some of our newest team members having only met the everyone virtually.

However last week, we where able to scrap the virtual meeting room and hold a team conference at our UK office to reflect on our major milestones, discuss our current projects and understand our strategy for next year. Our managing director, Geoff Brown, led us through the journey of Life & Pension systems over the last three years and how we have scaled and developed. Some of our biggest developments within the company have been investing in the expansion of the team, generating new business as well as maintaining our collaborative relationships with our current clients, and implementing our apprenticeship program. We cannot thank our team enough for the hard work and commitment they have given to the company to help us get were we are today.

Following the formalities, we raised a glass of prosecco in the office to a fantastic year, feeling excited about what 2022 is going to bring.

We later met for our Christmas meal... with a twist! We organised for our team to partake in an authentic Italian cooking class run by A Tavola Italian Deli, Wine Bar and Cooking School in Liverpool city center, where we learned how to cook a ravioli dish from scratch which was then cooked and served to us so we could try our own food creations! Some of us where naturals... and some of us should stick to our day jobs, however it was great fun and something a little different.

The evening continued with a speech from our directors- including a special mention to our financial controller Georgina Walters, who goes above and beyond for the company and we appreciate everything she does!

As this year come to an end, we will continue to work on projects to ensure each client is where they need to be for the new year.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients for your continued support throughout 2021.

Our offices will be close 24th December at 4pm and we will re-open on the 4th January 2022 8am. There will be continued phone support during these times and information on this will be sent individually to our clients.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
